I'm a self-taught software developer who found his passion relatively late in university. In my last academic year I have taken several computer science courses that taught me the fundamentals. Since then, I have built upon this fundament. I'm doing that through reading fora, blogs and books, being active in communities (Reddit, Stack Overflow or physically at work) and building many, many side projects. Although I'm constantly testing out new technology, I live by the philosophy "learn concepts rather than tools".
